Early-mid 1870's.
Notice the man's welt pocket on his jacket, usually for business cards.
The other chap has the familiar silk braiding around his collar & cuffs which was a common feature in the 70's.

Thanks Jim, more snippets to add to the glossary! I have ton of photos of males and they all look the same to me (not the males themselves but their outfits!  :P) so these descriptions are brilliant! ;D ;D
