I'm am hoping there is someone who can help me I am starting to trace my grandad's family line, but I am struggling.
I belive they are from Glasgow.
Information I have:
Father & mother of my grandad:
John McLean Mailer 16/8/1916 - 22/12/1994
Married to a
Mary Frew (m.s: Hewitt) 9/8/1916 - 21/11/1967
He also married a Anne Cleary Andrew or Friel. 

Father & mother of John McLean Mailer:
James McLean Mailer & Agnes Sim (m.s: McLean)

Father & mother of Mary frew(Hewitt) Mailer:
Charles Edward Berrie & Mary Frew Berrie (m.s: Hewitt)

You would need to purchase the marriage certs. from SP for

James McLean Mailer & Agnes Sim (m.s: McLean) &
Charles Edward Berrie & Mary Frew Berrie (m.s: Hewitt)

as they are possibly too late to capture on census records  ???

There are several family trees online covering the Mailer line, one shows a sister to John Mailer (1916-1994) called Janet who married a Philip McCue, also the parents of James McLean Mailer who married Agnes Sim McLean are shown as James Mailer and Euphemia A Barclay.

Of course, a health warning must apply over the accuracy of such information and should you choose to look at it, I would advise your own research to corroborate.
