Thomas Shepherd possibly from Dudley or could be Great Wolford

Thomas Shepherd married Sarah Lilley 5 December 1790 at St Thomas Church, Dudley which is now in West Midlands but was then Worcestershire I think.  Other researchers think Thomas is from Great Wolford in Warwickshire but I cannot find a link to that.  Can anyone tell me if it says on the marriage records where he was from.  Thank you.

at that time marriage record would only show "of the parish" -which means they were living in the parish they married in - or "of ******" which would be the parish they were living in
no information on place of birth given -only where they were living at that time

There's just 1 Thomas Shepherd listed in Wolford:
Ch. 30/9/1750
Parents: John & Susannah.

Sadly I don't think this is my Thomas as a burial is recorded 71 years later in Great Wolford for a Thomas Shepherd and my Thomas was definitely living in Dudley then.  You would have thought there were more Thomas Shepherd's around!

You may have to try several variations of Shepherd - a friend of mine is Shepherd and we found her family under Sheppard Shephard Shepperd and other variants
