yes groom , he was living in nelson street widnes , with his wife mary and son George "eli "and his daughter mary Catherine --in 1874 he was living in Cromwell street widnes ----then I have this death for him (but hes called john Clarke and not George Clarke)on the death certificate and his address is derby street st sub distict Helens county of Lancashire until 1874 im sure the documents are correct ,but the next sure document I have is 1877 when my grandfather was born in the whiston workhouse , no fathers name so im presuming George had died and that's why mary was in the workhouse --but the address throws me a little and ive been lead to believe his name may have been john but he called himself George ---im doing a visit of the places my forefathers lived next week so I want to be sure I have the correct info
