William Hull
« on: Sunday 29 March 15 17:12 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone

This is my first post just joined today, so hope I am following correct procedure. If not please don't hesitate to correct me.  Here goes!

I am looking for any information on William and Trinity Hull. I found them on 1841 Census in civil parish Badgeworth hamlet of Little Shurdington .  William 43 yrs Trinity 34 Yrs.  Ideally I would like to know marriage date and any births and Church if possible. There is one child on the census, Eliza age 12.  So marriage could be around 1828.
I will be great full for any info.

Glos BMD http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd gives just one birth for Hull, with mmn Cull, and that is John in 1844 as already mentioned. There may have been other births pre-1837, of course.

Hi,
Now that the Gloucestershire PRs are online, I decided to visit the local Library and see if the PR entry for the marriage would reveal any more clues.
St Leonard, Upton St Leonard, Marriage, Image 32, Entry No 76:-
William HULL, of the parish of Elmstone Hardwicke in this County, Bachelor, and Trinity CULL, of this parish, Spinster, were married in this Church by Licence this ninth day of January, 1833.
Both made their mark 'X' in the presence of James DAVIS & 'X' Sarah DAVIS.
