There is an 1839 marriage in Merthyr T with a Webber/Richards on the same page - is this the one you are referring to?

It seems to be the same family as the 1861 list. If this is correct Rachel would be my g.g.grandmother.

Thanks it is the same family married 1839 Merthyr and same as 1861 neath.

Odd but both couples were shown as Batchelor/Spinster at marriage, and yet in 1841 living with John & Rachel,  their is a Morgan Webber b c 1831 ( aged 3 at baptism) and a John Webber b c 1833 aged 1 at baptism) who were baptised 25th December 1833 Merthyr Tydfil Father John Mother Jane, on the 9th February 1840 Merthyr Tydfil John & Rachel had a daughter Jane, John's occ Collier
