I have francis edward anderson pitt birth, death and marriage certificate as he is my grand father.
The story is my father isn't well and we don't have much info on his family so trying to trace back where the family originally came from England or Spain?
Thank you

Yes I am aware your know who your grandfather is however it is necessary to work from what you know backwards and as you see I have found what I believe is your family in London in 1851 before emigration to NSW.

It would appear that Charles J's father Charles was born in France as was his grandmother.  All on the census.

The 1863 marriage certificate would give you the names of Charles J's parents including his mother's maiden name and his father's occupation.

You can purchase a transcription of the certificate which is a cheaper option to the more expensive certified certificate.
