Hi Wil,

I have a pretty full list of all the grandfathers back to 1670 and the line to me down through Andrew and Elizabeth 1798 to my family.

DNA Etc

There is a bit of the McDougall heritage in the NSW state library as well.

Peter

Thanks for the reply.

My GGG grandfather was Andrew and Elizabeth's youngest son, Alexander Waugh McDougall. I believe he was the only member of the family born in Australia in 1800.

My GG grandfather was Leslie Septimus McDougall, the youngest son (and 12th of 13th children) of Alexander. Born 1855.

My great grandfather was Vernon McDougall and my grandfather Graeme McDougall.

My ancestor, Thomas MacDougle was a fishmonger in Kyloe in Northumberland. He was born in about 1732. His daughter Elizabeth married a man called Christer/Craster Pringle and lived in Chatton, Northumberland.

Thomas may have been related to the MacDougles of Caverton Mill. There may have been an illegitimacy involved.

Any help that anyone can give would be much appreciated.
