Hi

Welcome to the forum. You've only given us a little information about this family it's difficult to work with such vague details. Can you find out what the surname was or when they were born?

It might give a better starting point if you tell us how you found their names and what sort of age they were at the time you are referring to. Were they children or old ladies?

I'm guessing here because there's so little to go on. Does the surname Costain ring any bells? I can see three female costains born in Peel in the 1930s on Manx BMD:-

Dorcas Mary (1930)
Ruth Catherine (1933)
Voirrey (1936)

I can see a Eva Williamson (born 1881 Ramsey) and a Ruth Williamson (born 1901 Ramsey), but 20 years is a large gap for sisters?

What were Fred's parent's names?
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

There's a Walker family with a son called John Frederick Walker born in 1904 who has step siblings called Corlett could this have anything to do with this family? The father Thomas Walker a boarding house keeper in Douglas married Florence Corlett in 1903. Florence Christian was married to Andrew Wesley Corlett who died in 1901:-

Can you tell us everything you know so far? Have you found any of the people you mentioned on census records?

I've found a William Howland Walker he was adopted by Thomas and Elizabeth Howland his mother was Hannah Walker:-

http://www.imuseum.im/FamilyHistory/View.mth?EntryID=3360796&issourcerecord=true

There's a Hannah Walker, single woman, visitor, English born aged 27, living in Ramsey in 1901 with a son called Freddie, English born, aged 2.

Could these be Fred and Billy?
