Hi

Welcome to the forum. How old was he when he died? Could this be him with his family in 1911?

Always best to work from the death/burial backwards picking up information along the way and using what you find to establish the next step back. Only by purchasing certificates can you ensure that everything is right. You can purchase relatively cheap photocopies for 4 Euros from Ireland. Street appears to be in the civil registration district of Granard. I can't find any matching birth indexes for 1927-28 but these are near matches:-

Name: Patrick Kiernan
Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1925
Registration district: Granard
Volume: 3

Name: Patrick Kiernan
Mother's Surname: Brady
Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1929
Registration district: Granard
Volume: 3

Within the Granard civil registration district is the Street sub-district. Both these districts cover parts of County Westmeath and County Longford. More information here:-
