Hi Carol and all

I have just started tracing my bloodline as I was adopted in 1972.
My great great grandfather was Thomas Henry Furlong!
I am fascinated to be reading all this information you all have. Would you be happy to share any more with me please?

Many kind thanks
Emma (born Melissa Jane Furlong)

Hi Emma,

Good to hear from another family member!

Thomas Henry Furlong born 6 th June 1862 was my great grandad and had I believe 7 children with
Mary Anne Reilly. Do you know which one of their children you are descended from? I have only researched my direct line but I may be able to help you with some general information

Kind regards

Mark Furlong

Hi Mark

Thank you so much for getting back to me! It is all very exciting.
My G Grandfather was Patrick Joseph-J Furlong (1891–1936) his son was my Grandfather Edmund T Furlong and his daughter is my birth mother Jennifer Ann formerly Furlong.

You and Carol are descended from Leo?

I am having trouble finding Thomas Henry's birth record as we had a different birth year, but still can't locate it using your given date. Any clues please? Do you have an Ancestry Tree?

Also were Thomas Furlong's parents Thos Furlong and Emily Dunn?

Look forward to swapping findings and details!
Thank you

Emma

Hello, due to recently doing my DNA and trying to trace my father it seems I am also connected to the furlongs
I was hidden via a name change and birthdate change in 1977
i was born in 1974
Due to my mother's own insecurities
Wondering if any one can help with any information ?
Many thanks Donna
