Anyone else having this problem with ancestry images - persistent problem at moment.

Yes Sandra, my neighbour was complaining about it this afternoon, and I have just checked and it is the same for me too. I have found it has been an intermittent problem in recent weeks.

Have noticed it in the past but usually find it best to let the image settle before zooming in and it cures the problem but not today, its persistent and quite annoying.

Hi, yes, the same here, I've give it up as a bad job this evening, as you say it usually settles down but it's certainly not calming down today, I even reverted to the "Basic" viewer.

When this happened last year, I set it to Basic Viewer and I've never changed it back.
In the last 45mins I've browsed all 166 images of the 1839-1841 Bpts of St Dunstan Stepney without a problem.

Maybe it won't work for me another day, but it certainly worked today

I've had the same trouble recently; set it to Basic Viewer and it seems to be okay then.
