Hi, I am at this very moment working on the ELLIS & GAY Family.
It would seem our Alice Ann GAY has disappeared? I have found no records after this 1861 Census.

Mac15me As it is not a direct line, I have not followed up on her. The brief information I do have is that she married John Huthnance 9 Aug 1862 at Helston in Cornwall.

Sub-registration   Wendron
with children
Mary A Huthnance   8     Wendron   
Elizabeth A Huthnance  6  Wendron   
William J Huthnance  3  Crowan   
Henry Huthnance 2  Crowan   
In 1878 they migrated to New Zealand, to Canterbury, with the children.
He farmed in the Taranaki region for about 37 years.
John died 14 Sept 1930 at New Plymouth. I am not certain about Alice Ann's death but think it was about 1901

Alice was my great, great grandmother. She and John immigrated to Lyttleton, New Zealand, lived in Cust, Canterbury for a few years before moving to Koru, Taranaki. She died in 1901 and is buried in the cemetery at Omata, Taranaki, New Zealand.
