I am almost convinced the Ann Hammond I'm descended from is the daughter of John and unknown wife and not the John who married Susan Charlwood. But I think the two Johns must be related - first cousins perhaps - because I have a DNA match with a descendent of Charlwood Hammond of Pulborough, who must be from the John and Susan line. My Ann is the earliest son or daughter of a John that are in this group, so I'm wondering if my John was the one who married Ann Tucker on 6 jun 1734 in Chichester. Can anyone confirm or find them elsewhere to disprove it.
