Canada has very strict privacy laws and each province imposes its own even further.  Additionally, some provinces are more research friendly than others so researching in Canada can be challenging. You were lucky to find British Columbia is one of those more research friendly, however, unfortunately, I have never seen anything on wills.

That's a shame - Although the index spans 1861-1981 this collection contains wills for 1861-1939.

Looking in the index the only person listed as having a Will was Frederick Archibald Jones. The number listed in the remarks was 221322. I'm not sure who you could contact about getting a copy of the Will though.

I would contact the BC Archives and they can advise how to order the will.  There is an email address on this site:

Good luck.

The Canada Voters List has Thomas Huggon, salesman and Elizabeth Huggon in Vancouver in 1953. In 1974 in the Fraser Valley the Voters List has Thomas Huggon, retail manager; Mrs. Elizabeth Huggon; Tom Huggan, student and Susan Huggon, psychiatric nurse.

I did find a death for Beth at the Royal BC Museum website:

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01f99/

Her death registration gives her husband's name as Thomas Norman Huggon. I found an obituary for him at the Vancouver Province website. It doesn't mention Beth but the name of two of their children matches the names on the Voters List.
