Lost my great grandparents Paul Pulis & Annie Seymour
« on: Friday 01 May 15 05:40 BST (UK) »
Have hit a brick wall trying to find out about my great grandparents. My grandfather was Carmelo Henry Joseph Pulis born in Malta December 1894, however his merchant seaman records show his birth in August 1894 but does not list any next of kin. On my grandparents marriage cert it lists his parents as Paul Henry Pulis and Annie Seymour. I have been in contact with Malta BDM and they have no record of his birth. I have no idea of either birth of death dates for either great grandparent and as i am very new to all this i am not sure where to search next. Any advice would be much appreciated.

There is a Malta Genealogy facebook group, maybe you can find good links to search there
https://www.facebook.com/MaltaFamilyTreeMaker

I had a quick look on there and it listed Pulis as a common Maltese family surname.
