Need a few more clues - dates, places?
I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe

The parents married in 1931 Sunderland Durham so the chances are that the sons you are naming could still be living.  RootsChat has a no living persons policy so if your not sure these people are deceased you would need to remove there names

Another thread was raised earlier on the Powell family

There is a birth records for Alan Evans Powell born 1926 and passed away 5 August 2011 - Hartlepool Durham - aged 85 years

The marriage of John B Powell and Edith H Evans was registered March quarter 1932 - Sunderland - 10a 896

Was Alan born before the marriage ?

Free BMD's would show you a marriage for Alan Evans Powell in 1957 - Durham - 1a 590

Edith Annie NEE Evans Powell - 20 April 1905 passed away September 1976 - Sunderland Tyne & Wear. 2 - 1419

She could have gone under Hannah which would answer why the marriage record shows "H"

Unfortunately we are not allowed to transcribe the 1911 Census because of copyright laws.
Can give you a link to Edith if you are a member of ancestry ?

Altered name from maiden name to married name.
