lived in Brynsiencyn.
Looking for information on parents and parents families.

Do you have a copy of Keturah's birth or marriage cert showing her fathers occupation?

Do you know whether she had older siblings born before 1911as you can use that information plus fathers occupation to find the family on the the 1911 census

I can find two children named Keturah Jones born on Anglesey in about 1913 - but the parents names are not as you have given them:

Keturah Jones b. 23 May 1913, Llanidan, father John Jones, mother Mary Jones (FreeBMD A,M,J 1913 Carnarvon 11b 778).
Keturah Jones b. 29 Dec 1912, Llanddaniel-fab, father Solomon Jones, mother Jane Jones (FreeBMD J,F,M 1913 Bangor 11b 739).

There was a marriage:

5 Feb 1938 at Horeb Chapel, Brynsiencyn, Llanidan between Keturah Jones, 24, of Boston House, Brynsiencyn, Llanidan, dau of John Jones, slate quarryman and William Jones, 24, crane driver in a slate quarry, of 48 Strand St., Hirael, Bangor (father's name and occupation not given).

I guess this is her?

I have the memorial inscription booklet from Gwynedd FHS for St Nidan Church, Brynsiencyn and the following appear for Boston House -

E075 - Mary Jones - 10/03/1965 age 77 and her husband John Jones 23/06/1966 age 80

E076 - John Allford - 20/03/1973 age 59

C046 - Anne Jones - 14/09/1904 age 62 - spouse of Ebenezer Jones (Draper) 

Any help?

   Thank you this is correct marriage,i new it was 1938 but nothing else.

Hi,

Assuming it it one family, I have been looking at the censuses for Ebenezer who seems to have been in Bury,Lancs in 1881 aged 34 with his wife Annie (29) and children Edith M (2) and David S (6 months). It looks like he married in Liverpool as the 1881 census show Edith and David both being born there. 

In 1891 he is in Tranmere, Birkenhead age 44 with Ann (38) David S (10) and John A (4)., the census shows David's birth as Bury with John A being born in Liverpool.

Annie was from Shrewsbury and after her death he appears to have re-married Elizabeth and possibly died in Caernarvon in 1934.

His parents seem to be Robert and Margaret Jones.

On Ancestry there seems to be family trees for Edith M but I am fairly sure the parents information is wrong as amongst other things they show Annie dying abroad.

Nevertheless it would be worthwhile to have a look at the trees and see what you think - it may all be connected.
