my grandfather was a Edwin Tippett, from haymoor penzance I think, he married Lillian may Mitchel, they went on to have Albert, died as a baby, Garfield, Winifred, Lillian Marjory, and Ronnie

Albert Tippet married Nanny Nankervis - Q1 March 1888 - Penzance 5c 346
Edwins baptism 5 July 1889 St. Mary's, Penzance, Cornwall. Parents Albert Tippett and Nanny.

Edwin Tippett born 1890 and aged 35 years appeared on a border crossing from Canada into the USA - 26 July 1925 - had travelled Southampton to Quebec on the Ausonia.
Edwin was married , a miner and married. Wife Lillian Tippett, Pond Lane, Plainaiowarry ???Redruth. Final destination was Detroit Michigan. (40 Cottage grove Highland Park Detroit Michigan) Lived there from October 1923 - 25.
Immigration Visa - Plymouth 12 July 1925.

Detroit Border Crossing - 21 March 1923 - Edwin Tippett born Penzance 1891 - arrival Port - Detroit Michigan.
Had arrived in Canada on the Andania 28 October 1922 friend Ernest Bluett - Toronto Ontario
Going to Aunt Mary A Warren, 1658 Mabel Avenue. Detroit Michigan. He had $50.
This is all written in a rather thick blotchy black writing and difficult to read.

Albert Tippett - Born April 1861 in Oak Hill St Buryan, Cornwall passed away 16 Aug 1922 - 36 Richmond Street, Heamor, Madron Cornwall. Stonecutter. Administration to Nanny Tippett (widow) - £199 12s
Probate 10 October 1922 - Bodmin Registry.
Albert was 61 years old. Death Registered Penzance Cornwall - 5c 240 - Redg Sept 1922

Norman Tippett (brother of Edwin) son of Albet and Nanny Tippett is named on the War Memorial at Madron
Private 203244, 4th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Died of wounds in United Kingdom 25 April 1918. Aged 23. Born Madron, enlisted Penzance, resident Heamoor. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tippett, of 36, Richmond St., Heamoor, Penzance. Buried in Madron Cemetery Penzance Cornwall. Grave Reference "U." 22CC. 8.
