Frye's family.
« on: Monday 11 May 15 22:00 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone !

I'm in Canada and I am having an hard time to find some information about the Frye's family in England.
My ancestor was Nicholas Frye married to Isabel (???) and they had 3 children :
George Frye
John Frye
Margaret Frye

George Fry married Edith (???) and they had Nicholas Frye.
He married Mary Batherton. She gave birth to the first ancestor in America, Adrian Frye.

Everything before Adrian Frye is not sure. I don't know how to start to find more information before him. I don't have any dates (birth, death or marriage). They came from Barton (Cambridgeshire, I think), Compton (Berkshire) and Axbridge (Somersetshire).

If anyone has information, I will be more than happy to read about them.
Thank you very much,
Vanessa

According to numerous trees on Ancestry, Nicholas was born 1569 in Somerset.

But he also died in Somerset?

It is late 1500's, yes.
I don't know if there is any way to find information as far from present...

I'd be happy if maybe someone is related to him but still in England. I guess there are still Frye's person in England.
