The Flynn / Smith combination is not the rarest one BUT I think this one looks like a good possibility for Mary, or at least worth following up on !

Not sure about 'Colcoran'  ???

You'd probably need to see the original to see was it a mistranscription ~ I'm holding out for it to be Cavan  ;D

I have found a record for the death of a Mary Ellen Flynn in 1908 aged 16yrs.  This age does tie in with when our Mary was born 1892.  The registration area is Roscrea, by June 1908 the Flynn family where living in Attymon Co Galway.
