Hello and welcome to Rootschat!
Do you mean Mary was buried on 9 Feb 1752?

If you haven't already got them, FindMyPast and Ancestry have two other Siviers who marry at about the same sort of time in N Stoneham, so could possibly be siblings of Robert. Joseph married Anne Baldrey (licence 4 sep 1733) and Elizabeth Sivier married Matthew Huelin 14 July 1726 (licence 13 July 1736). FindMyPast has burials for a couple of children of Joseph and Anne's at North Stoneham.

Unfortunately, no sign of baptism for Robert or the other two, which I guess would be about 1700.

Sivier sounds as if it could be French - could they be Huguenots? I have Huelin ancestors, mine are from Jersey - possibly Huguenots.

Sorry the date of 9-2-1752 is the date of interment. not birth.
I think North Stoneham is in South Hampshire.

Robert Sivier may have remarried to in 1752.
I know they had 9 children. I have dates for the interment of 5 of them.
Thanks for your help so far.

Are you referring to the entry for a Robert Sivier marrying Jane Hobbs in Northwood IOW in 1852 (year only given) in Boyd's index?

Could he be marrying a relative of his first wife?

Henry Sivier ( s/o Robert and Mary) was baptised on the same day that Mary was buried. That may seem a bit strange but I have come across that several times.
There are baptisms for children of Robert and Jane over several years so if it is the same Robert marrying Jane, she must have been quite a bit younger.

When did Robert die?
There is a burial for a Jane Sivier in N Stoneham on 24 May 1786, which says wife of Robert.

The Jane I read about married in 1752. The same year as Mary died.

From A data based created from assorted records. Jane Hobbs married Robert Sivier on 25-08-1752 @ Northwood Source IGI 752JN.
