John Nutman COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 21 May 15 19:23 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anybody can help?

My great grandfather was John Nutman born 17 November 1843, Belford, Bamburgh.

I can find him on the 1851 census (Ancestry have him as Notman) in Bamburgh age 7.

I can find him again in both 1871 and 1881 census returns as living at 36 Bulmer Street Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with his wife Sarah Jane (Dunn).

I cannot, however, find him on the 1861 census through Ancestry.

Can anybody find out where he might have been for this census? He would be 17 years old.
