I too am researching KIRKLAND (and variants in Leicestershire) and have a public tree on Ancestry called "0 Kirkland", a search for Ambrose KIRKLAND / KECKLAND born / baptised 1770 in Barlestone should find it.  Hopefully we can link up our trees and info

Don't want to hijack the thread with names but a William Kinnersley Kirkland born Barlestone 1826 is one of the Kirkland family members.
