Frederick Wallace, born abt. 1834, Edinburgh
« on: Saturday 23 May 15 13:08 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am trying to find out when Frederick Wallace died. He was born in Edinburgh around 1834 and married Eliza Maria Hammond on 12 October 1863 in Dundalk, Ireland. He could have been in the army at this time.
In the 1871 census he is in Fenny Stratford, Bucks. with his family and he is a Police Inspector. I can't find him in any census after that. Have tried Free BMD for a date of death but no luck.
Can anybody help please?

Dave

Hi Dave,
Is he named as Lily's father c 1873/4?

Eliza is only shown as widowed from 1901

Have you tried searching for his police record? http://www.mkheritage.co.uk/bch/docs/bconstab.html

This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.
