Cornelius and Theophlius Bonner

Hi,

I am looking for any information on these two people both from Ireland and most likely Catholic. Both are either brothers or cousins and they both joined the British Army and fought in the British Invasion of the River Plate in 1806-1807. That’s all the information I have to go by.

Cornelius Bonner born around 1781 to 1786 Ireland, died in 1861 and

Theophlius Bonner born 1787 Derry, Ireland and died in 1809.

Thank you but that was my original post in 2011 when I didn't have enough information.  Now I have more information such as the county in Ireland and a year of birth. :)

Yes, but it's better to add new details to an existing topic than create a new one.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Oh, I just thought it was best to make this inquiry under Derry (Londonderry) as I am now actually looking for Birth Records and not army records.

So you believe I still should take this inquiry there?

It's also best to say where they lived and died- otherwise people will be searching for that information too  :)
