That's very interesting, because Jane Ritchie Henderson, born 1898, was the daughter of Alexander Ritchie and Jane McCrae Fawns, and as far as I know unrelated to Jane Leighton Henderson who may or may not have been Jean Leighton Ritchie, the mother of Eleanor May Mytton or Wallace who also died in South Africa.

Thanks Rosie, unfortunately I don’t know what her occupation was & I am in contact with the owner of the tree as we have a DNA match. She had told me about South Africa but she has no documentation to back up her claims. Just hoping it was someone else with proof. Thank you very much anyway.

Definitely my Jean Ritchie Henderson, just found the notice in the paper, it mentions her parents & their correct address. He was from Barnoldswick Yorkshire. Finally know where she went. Thank you all so much.
