Can any of you more knowledgeable chatters find Samuel Whittaker for me. I understand he had served in the royal inniskilling fusiliers about 1919_1920 then served in the harbour police probably stationed in Londonderry. Anything would be helpful.

Samuel whittaker was born 1902 in tyrone and his birth registered in strabane northern  Ireland

Samuel Whittaker born 1 Apr.1902 (mother's name Nabbs)- his birth was actually registrered at Plumbridge sub-district which comes under Strabane registration district.

Here's the Whittaker family in 1911- father a shoemaker & ex-soldier, parents married 27 years with 11 children (all still living) so probably lots of relatives for you to trace, get information from, etc.:
