Is there a trade directory for Lennoxtown, Dunbarton please ?

I'm trying to find any trace at all of my gggg grandfather whose father Alexander BAYNE and his wife (nee Drummond) who lived in Lennoxtown around the beginning of 1800's.  If anyone has access to a trade directory for this period, or parish records, or census returns and can find some information on the BAYNE family I would be really grateful

can't really help you out but you should post this on the Stirlingshire page as well. Lennoxtown came under Campsie in Stirlingshire.
