Thos A Banks  1 Fulham London
Thomas snr is on hisown in Andover ten years later. A Yeoman farmer.

The entry immediately above this one is for
Selina Banks  48 single Head
Emma Banks  45 sister single
Elfrida Banks  39 sister single
All living on own means
Living at Fox cottages
And in the next cottage is Thomas Malt, Boarder

Your help is narrowing down my search very well. I see that you, as am I, are a night owl..  ;) I do my best work in the quiet, dark of night.
This is my Thomas A Banks. And it seems he was at Fox Farm or at least Fox Cottages. Elfrida is a family name as is Laura in recent generations.
My search skills with census have not been developed at all, so I do presently appreciate your help.

There was a Thomas Alexander Banks marrying an Emma Taylor March Qtr 1853, St Pancras.  This may be the right marriage, as in 1891 there is a Timothy Taylor living with/visiting Thomas Alexander, and described as his brother-in -law. Both Emma and Timothy were born in Winchester or nearby Headbourne Worthy
