     Found 1851 Census on Anc**try but name has been transcribed as James Phath, 63, Farmer of 120 Acres, wife Barbra, 53 & son James 11, at Coldhome, Tarves, Aberdeenshire.

Following Dod's info about Miss Rothnie's marriage [which I have] I was wondering where I could find anything about Udny Green School.
My granddaughters go to this school and I think they might be very interested!

Would the school not be able to tell you?

If not, Aberdeen Archives has all the records of Aberdeenshire schools.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I just thought that maybe they might already have done this and there would be no point duplicating their work if they have done it.
