Wrong address or wrong person?
« on: Monday 08 June 15 20:34 BST (UK) »
Hello all,

I have located the burial record for a James William Brinkley, born 1905, died 17 March 1962 at Edinburgh Close, Liverpool and also found the will for a James William Patrick Andrew Brinkley, born 1905, died 16 March 1962, also in Liverpool, but the probate record shows his address as Bankhall Street, Liverpool.

Is it possible that this is just an address error - I haven't found two records of death to suggest there is two of them.

Many Thanks,

Colleen

The probate will give his usual address

He did not necessarily die at home -- the burial could be the address where he died

Thanks for replying,

I think I have realised what has happened - after google mapping the addresses it appears Bankhall Street is a street of Victorian warehouses, so I am now thinking perhaps this was his business address.

I am going to shift over to the Lancashire page to search out some help with locating info on the business.

Many Thanks,

Colleen

Probate index entry does not give a year of birth.
It does give his date of death as 17th, same as you have from the burial, not 16th.

Hi Lizdb,

Yep I have just checked again and it is my note scribbling that has mis-transcribed the info.

Thanks for the reply,

Colleen
