Marriage lookup please Wrexham, Wales. Sophia Griffiths

Sophia Griffiths married Cecil Sayers (should be Saile or Sale) on freebmd in 1858 in Wrexham.  However on the census records there are 2 boys Edward born 1853 and James born 1856, so I was wondering if Sophia had been married before.  Guessing the marriage was non conformist as they were Methodists I think.  Would like to know Sophia's maiden name if not Griffiths and fathers name etc if anyone can help.  Sophia was born 1833 in Gwersyllt, Denbighshire.

She's listed as a spinster on the marriage-father Thomas GRIFFITHS a mason. Witnesses were Samuel GRIFFITHS and Mary HUGHES.

I am using Ancestry.com and find Sophia with family 1851 and 1861, also as Sophia Sale 1861 with husband and children....really confusing, I thought there must be 2 Sophia Griffiths but maybe not.

1861 the name is Seal, incorrectly transcribed.

I see what you mean. It's quite obviously the same Sophia,though. She may have been visiting her parents on census night (they do have her down as married!) or else they just included her without thinking.

You did well to find Cecil on the 1861. Susan indeed! ;)
