"Valerie Isla Mirams" - Mystery
« on: Sunday 14 June 15 10:19 BST (UK) »
I was watching this story tonight on TV ...... I know it is not good to trace living people but what about any deceased people in her family, brothers/sisters? Is she still deceased/alive, her children would like to know.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/sunday-night/features/a/28330730/what-happened-to-valerie-mirams/

"Her mother was Ethel Jane Mirams, born in 1892 in Clifton Hill, Victoria. Her father was Maurice Mirams, an engineer, born in 1899, in Ascot Vale, Victoria. The parents married on October 17, 1928, in Melbourne."

Four siblings abandoned as children have met for the first time after five decades apart

It is a real tear jerker, I am so glad the children found each other.

There is a trove article tagged with her name but I think this refers to the death of James Brian Guy (1932-1964) who was the father of two of the children and Valeries husband.

Hi,
This has  been discussed on Facebook on Reconnect Free.
As all the posts don't turn over in the order they are written in the thread is hard to find.
Agree it is a true mystery.

Hopefully she did go on and have more children and they might get their answer from voluntary DNA.
