Hoping someone on here may have access to Sittingbourne Electroral Rolls for 1971.

I'm looking for a Geoffrey Mullard or any other Mullard will do!

1971 is quite recent, is he still alive as we have a 'no living people' policy?

Apologies - I didn't realise - I don't know if he is alive so please feel free to delete my post if necessary - I got a bit carried away in excitement of possibly finding someone after a long time!

I will try and find a more discreet way of finding out.

As we don't know for sure, lets run with this for a while....

When and where was your Geoffrey born? there are only 4 in the birth index and none of them in Kent.

Where you do get the link to Sittingbourne from?

Thank you Dawn - unfortunately I know nothing more about him except that he was living in Sittingbourne in 1971, he would have probably been in his twenties then.  He travelled up to Berkshire for a short while and then disappeared (possibly back to Sittingbourne).  I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps Geoffery was a middle name, but it was the name he was known by.

I have good reason to believe that he is a very important part of my family tree and I would love to find out more about him. 

I have been doing my family tree for eight years but this information has only come to light this week.

I don't have much experience tracing such recent people and not really sure where to go from here.

Have you found a possible entry in the birth index for him?

You know a lot more about him than we do such as his parents names.

As mentioned by Carole, electoral registers are compiled by address, any idea which street in Sittingbourne even if you don't have a number?

Unfortunately I am working backwards and he is the first person on the trail.  I will ask my mum if she remembers the street name.
