Half an hour after accessing as always, I changed computers and tried to get in again.

I was asked whether I wanted a free trial. When I entered my user Name and Password, I was told my credentials were invalid!! I had 2 emails from them yesterday informing me of "hints" and a private message.

I tried it out a while later and was able to assess as always.

I like Ancestry. It has helped me enormously with building my Tree but >Oh! their "manners towards the paying public", i.e. long time subscribers leaves much to be desired :o

I haven't been able to use their private messaging for a while now. They say it's because I'm using Vista, an unsupported browser or something like that....I don't understand as my husband takes care of all that and I don't have trouble with other sites.
Yes, their Customer Service is dreadful!!
