My apologies for returning to this subject again. Sorry.

I am trying to convince my innner doubter that Harry, son of Robert Jones, born Llanbedr y Cennin in 1741, is the Harry Roberts, born 1741, who married (at 54!) Mary Jones in Llanllechidd in 1795, and who fathered a son, Harry Roberts, who was born the same year. As far as I know Harry Jones was the only Harry Jones/Roberts born in the area between 1740 and 1780. Harry Roberts died in Llanllechidd in 1836 aged 94, which with a dose of patronymics, makes him a likely candidate to be originally Harry Jones (Harry ap Robert) born in Llanbedr y Cennin 1741, and subsequently Harry Roberts.
