there are 3 or 4 possible marriages for a Reginald A Poole in the correct timeframe,,,,,,so iguess it would be a csae of ordering the marriage certificates and hoping you got lucky.....which would be costly at £10 a cert.

theres a WW1 merchant navy medal card transcription for a Leonard Poole b 1897 Willoughby....but it says Willoughby ,Yorkshire?  wonder if they made a mistake ?

looking at Leonards birth index,,,its says he was born Leonard J L Poole 1897

there is a marriage registered in the West Derby {Liverpool area} in 1923 of a Leonard J L Poole to an Ellen Davies ?

this looks interesting

there was a marriage in 1914 registered Ashby de la Zouch,Liecestershire,of a Matilda Poole to a George Spencer.
I checked the deaths,and there is a death registered in 1929 in Ashby de la Zouch,Liecestershire of a Matilda Spencer. Her birth year is given as 1870.

these are just suggestions,,,only way to verify them would be to order some certificates...i think i would be tempted to order the Matilda Poole marriage cert.

this chap also has a cr1 card,,,it again states he was born 1897 Willoughby ,Yorkshire....but interestingly he was discharged in 1927 inLiverpool.   this all might be a red herring,,,,but thought it worth mentioning.
