I know from the marriage certificate (CAS 608505/83) 12th June 1854, that William was a Farm Bailiff when he got married, recorded his residence at the time as Kenswick, his father is William, a shoemaker. Ann's occupation was 'servant' living at Lindridge, father James was a labourer. From Ann's death certificate I know she was 68 at death, died at Motueka near Nelson, NZ and she had diabetes and died of dilatation of the heart and her mother was Elizabeth (nee) Palmer. Ann's death certificate says she was born at Eardiston, Worcestershire and that would have been c1827. The witnesses at the wedding were George Price and Sarah Palmer. If this would get me closer to finding William Snr I would be thrilled to bits! Regards, Mel
