That must be an addition from my brother on the tree, but we have no idea how to go back any further than that

You need to buy the certificates. There is no other reliable way.
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

Giving her a birthdate of  approx 1931
Birth Macclesfield Oct 1929. 8a/143
Gladys Kershaw MMS Sykes
Both of Gladys marriages were in Macclesfield.

It would have been nice though if you had given us a link to your past message. Yes you said you had been on before---BUT NOT that it was the same line. You could have opened up the old thread and added to it, at least we would have known what not to search for.
