It looks like H Duckett - there was a Fred H Duckett who resided Lacombe Red Deer Alberta according to a 1926 border crossing USA to Canada.

1921 Census for Red Deer -

Fred Heath Ducket  52 Born USA. Imm 1900. Farmer.
Effie May Ducket  44
Myrtle May Ducket  18 Hazel Arnetta Ducket  11
John Duncan Gunn  29 Employee.

Effie was Effie Henry - couple married Iowa 6 February 1896

No sign of Andrew with the family in 1916 - 26 Red Deer Alberta

Fred Duckett  47 Effie Duckett  40
Carl Duckett  19 Myrtle Duckett  14 Hazel Duckett  6

That is brill. I noticed that Andrew was a farmer in 1909, getting a British bonus. So if he went to Alberta then, he must have decided to become a Clergyman after that. I wonder was he in the army and that is why he got a British bonus??

Hi,

Nice one Sandra. ;D

Andrew didn't receive the British Bonus, but he received a bonus for western homesteading.

A bit about the British Bonus:
The British Bonus was a commission paid by the Canadian government's Immigration Branch to steamship booking agents in the United Kingdom and in European countries for each suitable immigrant who purchased a ticket to sail to Canada. The immigrants themselves did not receive the bonus, although those who settled on western homesteads did receive a separate monetary bonus upon proof of settlement.

Cheers,
DB

Finding some information today about Andrew. Although Andrew was Church of Ireland, he changed religion after he went to Canada. I'm told that he was Brethren. I wonder if that is the right word or would it be called Mennonite? As I am not sure, do they have a Church or meet for Prayer in a house?
I spoke to a lady, who will be 90 next week. She had met him many years ago. He wore glasses she told me. He did not marry.

Hi,

It might be worth an email to the Mennonite Brethren Church Canada
http://cmbs.mennonitebrethren.ca/

Also, another website that gives you listings of Mennonite historical libraries, archives,
and genealogical websites.
