« on: Friday 19 June 15 20:31 BST (UK) »
Hi im trying to find information on some Quaker families withing the Burton Stather area, the family names im interested in:
Mary Morley 1672-1726,(apparently her grandfather was one of the founding members of Quakers he was John Kilham), Mary married Stephen Wressell In Gainsborough,Lincs,on 8 Aug 1705.
Susannah Wressell 1671-1780 (daughter of Stephen and Mary and there was 2 other daughters, i have found Jane via her adult baptism with her sister susannah, also on this day susannah had  her eldest son baptised also but i havent found this),i have not found them as yet, she married my relative William Driffill,(this was an outside marriage which apparently was frowned upon.
Many thanks

... Mary married Stephen Wressell In Gainsborough,Lincs,on 8 Aug 1705 ...

My index has the marriage taking place at Burton Stather on that date.

Let's look at the Burton register http://www.lincstothepast.com/Records/RecordDisplayTranscript.aspx?oid=889131&iid=103886

5th line on left appears to say "A  ...... of marriage betwixt Stephen Wright(?) and Mary Morley was made at Adlingxxxx August ye 8th".  Perhaps it is Wressel but wouldn't be my immediate choice.  :-\
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

'Adlingxxxx". I think that's most likely 'Adlingfleet' on the Isle of Axholme.
