I am interested in linking up with anyone who has George Janes 5/10/1857 - 22/1/1922 as their ancestor. His parents were George Janes and Lucy Waters. He had 9 children between 1877 and 1895 with Mary Jane (died 19/7/1913) and a further 3 with his second wife Annie (nee Fossey) in 1916, 1917 and 1918. George spent his working life with the railway finishing as a Signalman at Ringwood Hampshire. When George died in 1922 my father Frank, brother Percy and sister Freda went to the Railway Orphanage in Woking.I know there is a link with the Turner family of Ringwood as George's first child Lucy Anne married Edward Ambrose Turner in 1903.
