Thank you for this additional information, Terianne and Moo.  I'll bring out my Easton files and take another look with all this in hand.  Jean

Hello
I noticed several posts re Easton of Kelso and Jedburgh including Walter Easton and spouse Janet Broun (Brown)

These are my Ancestral Great Grandparents

I have additional generations further back than Andrew Easton of Kelso Master Baker and his wife Elizabeth Alexander

Additonally I am in touch with some Easton descendants based in Australia who also link to this extensive family and who have kindly added to my information

Please see direct link to my heritage below:-
Walter Easton (1680 - )
6th great-grandfather
Walter Easton (1708 - )
Son of Walter Easton
Andrew Easton (1744 - )
Son of Walter Easton
Walter Easton (1792 - 1855)
Son of Andrew Easton
Andrew Ronald Easton (1822 - 1889)
Son of Walter Easton
Robert Smith Easton (1854 - 1923)
Son of Andrew Ronald Easton
Margaret Anne (Madge) Easton (1900 - 1979)
Daughter of Robert Smith Easton

I would be willing to share data accumulated over several years which was aided by help of the Jedburgh Registrar Annette  Veitch who has since retired should anyone wish to contact me

And also I have material purchased via Scotland People regarding the Family

Many thanks for various posts commenting on my Forebears
