Hi Maria49,

 ;D Welcome to RootsChat  ;D

Have you found Elizabeth and her mother on the 1901 census?  If so can you post the reference numbers so that we can easily find the correct person? Any earlier census records for her parents?

What are the names given on the certificate for her parents and what is her father's occupation?

Debra  :)

Is father Albert Frederick Walker?  There is a tree with his death in 1894 but aged only 19?

Could be a mix up somewhere.  If you can give more details as Debra asks am sure we can help  :)

Well he certainly seems to have been married as there is a copy of his death certificate with a widow on it.
Died 21 March 1894 age 20.

Ok looks like his widow married again so could Elizabeth Ann be her new husbands child?
Depending what year they married and what her date of birth was.

I'm thinking her mother married again after being widowed - Walter Plumb looks likely but I can't find a marriage to him.

She may have put his first name but changed the surname to match her own when she married.

Do you know if she had any siblings called Jane or James?
