I see that Walter died 1 April, 1937.

There was a daughter born to this marriage. Did she have any children?

My cousin Maureen married late in life and didn't have any children, she was a career woman and loved travelling.
Sorry.....one last question.......how did you find notification of Elsie Scobie's will, didn't show up whilst searching on Ancestry..............

Yes, I thought that was her marriage. But you never know if there has been a child born out of wedlock. So I thought I would ask... 'just to be sure'

Hi.  I have just found these posts about Norman Claude Scobie.  As one of his granddaughters, I can categorically state that he never married anybody else after his second wife (my grandmother) Gladys Germaine Smith, nee Hughes, in 1930. 

After his retirement from training in the late 1950s they moved to Jersey, Channel Islands to live, where they both died within a year or so of each other.
