ANGEL(L), Devonport, Buckfastleigh

I'm doing this for a friend so going by what I have - looking for any connection to John Stephen ANGEL born March 1850 in Plymouth, parents Philip and Elizabeth.

Wondering who Philip b 1823 parents might be?  He does have siblings Thomas b 1821 and John b 1825.

There is a Philip and Susan shown in 1841 census at Charles the Martyr, Plymouth, with presumably children John 1827, Samuel 1829 and Susan 1833, but no Philip or Samuel.

I have John with his parents in 1851 at John Lane, Plymouth.

There is a possible marriage in 1847 for Philip & Elizabeth.  A copy of the cert will give his fathers name.

If you look at the 1851 image - Susan Angel and dtr Susan are shown on the same image

There is a baptism at Plymouth st Andrew-Phillip Angel 1822 on FindMyPast and various records for Phillip Angel at Buckfastleigh.
There is also a John Angel baptised 1824 at Buckfastleigh on  FindMyPast
In 1841 Phillip junior and Thomas are both in Buckfastleigh working for others.
I don't have a sub but you could pay as you go to have a look.

Looks like it could be a second Marriage to me;

It may be worth checking this on FindMyPast to see if he was a Widower.
