Preliminary thought  Bournemouth.

Those poles in the middle of the road may be for Trolley Buses.

I wonder what that statue is to the right of the car


It looks like a WW1 War Memorial.

The soldier holding on to his upturned gun and his head bowed.

I was wondering if they were for trolley buses - although there don't appear to be any cables, maybe this was taken before they were installed? The nearest I've found to them were for trams in Liverpool

Too early for trolley buses I would say, but there appear to be tram lines to the left of the poles.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Actually I can see the cables now and agree could be tram tracks
