Toft Cambs - Marriage in 1729
« on: Wednesday 01 July 15 09:45 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for a copy of the original marriage record from the parish registers (or BT) for the following:

Joseph Livett & Mary Richardson 14 Oct 1729 at TOFT Cambs

Would like to know if there's any further information like witnesses or OTP etc.

Any help or suggestions would be most welcome
Thanks

Di

No witnesses before 1754. You're lucky to get more than the two names.

Thanks bb - I always live in hope that I find a Vicar who records more than the minimum. Would be great to have a look at the original anyway.

Cambridgeshire archives can supply copies of many of their documents by email:

If you aren't sure about anything before you order, you can always email them first.  I have found them to be very helpful.

Thanks Galium - I wasn't aware that the record office would send copies of parish records. I've never had a lot of success in communicating with Cambs RO but will certainly try again.

Appreciate your guidance

Thanks StanleysChesterton

That confirms what I expected. I'll need to check Caxton records in detail now.

Appreciate your help
