Have you tried this service?
https://www.salford.gov.uk/gravesearch.htm

I also found this
William E Matthews(Ernest) resident Pendleton Died 27th May 1918 Private Machine Gun Corp 88077 Age 32
CWG Son of William and Elizabeth Matthews Husband of Elizabeth Matthews of 21 Carlton Road Pendleton
Soissons Memorial
Have you tried searching St Thomas Pendleton?

Hi harryedward.
My Great Grandparents lived just off Wellington Street in Pendleton and they both died in 1919, they were both buried at Agecroft Cemetery which was only a few minutes walk away from Wellington Street. If you phone Agecroft Cemetery Office they hold all the burial records for Salford and are very helpful.
Regards Dave.
